Patient: 36-year old woman
Ocular Medical History: penetrating open-globe injury with posterior segment intraocular foreign body.
Purpose: to show coaxial 1.8 mm microincision cataract surgery (MICS) with 23g Chromovitrectomy and IOFB removal.
Methods: video, 5 min.
Findings: after coaxial 1.8 mm microincision cataract surgery (MICS), performing a 23g chromovitrectomy with removal of a posterior segment intraocular foreign body, at the end micro performing an iris suturing surgery (MIIS) using Hattenbach iris suture hybrid intrument set.
