PVR, Subretinal Proliferation
A ring-like subretinal strand (napkin ring) is seen to surround the retina near the optic nerve head. The retina in the macular area is folded due to subretinal tissue (the vessels are visible). The superior retina looks whitish due to subretinal sheets.
