Pupillary Membrane, Remnants of, Proliferation of Melanocytes on Lens Surface
Seeding of melanocytes from remnants of a pupillary membrane. In some areas the tissue is still multilayered, but in the periphery a monolayer of melanocytes has formed like in a tissue culture. With high magnification one is able to identify the dendritic melanocytes.
