This picture shows a vascular cast of the choroidal vasculature. Most prominent on the outside are the vortex veins which radiate from the equatorially located ampulla. A long ciliary arterial vessel passes from posteriorly to anteriorly into the iris. Underneath the veins is the dense capillary network of the choroid.
