PVR, Attached Retina, Preretinal Proliferation
Preretinal pigmentation appeared shortly after successful reattachment of the retina. The black coloration indicates cells derived from the retinal pigment epithelium. Over five years the area covered by the pigmented cells has increased, a sign of continued proliferation. This is a very low grade Proliferative Vitreoretinopathy (PVR)
